TOUR ITINERARY:
🦁 DAY 1: FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE (4x4 SAFARI)
— Early morning pickup from your hotel and transfer to Zanzibar Airport
06:00 – Domestic flight to Selous / Nyerere National Park
06:30 – Arrival at Mtemere Airstrip, right at the park's main entrance
07:00 – Begin your safari through one of the largest protected areas in Africa
— Drive through diverse landscapes: savannahs, rivers, hills, and majestic baobab forests
— Great chance to see lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species
10:30 – Coffee/tea break in the bush
12:30 – Picnic lunch under the shade of trees with views of waterholes or open plains
17:00 – End of safari and transfer to the lodge
— Dinner and evening relaxation around the campfire under the African night sky

🐊 DAY 2: GAME DRIVE + SUNSET BOAT SAFARI
— Early morning game drive at sunrise — the perfect time to see wildlife on the move
10:00 – Open-air coffee break in the wild
10:30 – Continue exploring new safari routes: track predators, observe herds, and enjoy the untouched beauty of the park
12:30 – Picnic lunch in one of the park's scenic resting spots
16:30 – Transfer to the Rufiji River
— Sunset boat safari: glide past hippos, crocodiles, water birds — and possibly lions along the riverbanks. A completely different perspective of the wild.
— Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight stay

🥾 DAY 3: WALKING SAFARI & RETURN TO ZANZIBAR
— Breakfast at the lodge and checkout
— Guided walking safari with an armed ranger — a rare opportunity to feel the land step by step: track animals, smell the bush, hear the sounds, and discover rare plants
— Learn from your guide, watch birds, and follow fresh wildlife tracks
