Early Morning
— Private transfer from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport
— Meet our representative for tour briefing and check-in
06:00 – Scenic flight to Selous (Nyerere National Park)
Enjoy a short domestic flight (approx. 30 min) over the turquoise coastline and inland wilderness.
06:30 – Landing at Mtemere Airstrip, right at the park’s main gate. Your guide and safari vehicle will be waiting.
06:45 – Begin your safari adventure
Jump into a 4x4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof and set out into one of Africa’s largest protected areas.
Expect to see: elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, exotic birds — and possibly leopards or hyenas.
13:30 – Picnic lunch in the bush
Enjoy a scenic outdoor meal surrounded by untouched African landscapes.
15:30 – End of safari
Short rest and drive back to the airstrip.
16:15 – Flight back to Zanzibar
Return with your camera full, heart full, and soul recharged.
